Do I need to set up an account to place an order?

No, you do not need an account to place an order. However, if you do, you will be able to track your order, save your address and info for future orders, and receive special offers and news from Kumari HQ!

I forgot my password – how do I Iogin?

One password too many? No problem. Click ‘forgotten password’ on the login page.

What does ordering a ‘Custom Kumari’ mean?

It means you can have a Kumari in your size and select from a range of textile options … including perhaps a sari sitting in your cupboard waiting to be worn!

I have a sari that I want made into a Kumari – is this possibe?

Yes, BUT: while we would love to accomadate all requests, some saris might be too delicate to stitch, or do not lend themselves to being cut for a pattern. We are happy to see what you have and discuss possibilities – view our CUSTOM KUMARI.

Do you offer customizations off RTW?

Everything you see on this site is available in a range of sizes, from XS-L. We are working adding smaller and larger sizes. As welll, we are happy to address custom order and sizing – please see our CUSTOM KUMARI.

Can you add sleeves to my Kumari?

We cannot add sleeves to anything on this site. We can, however, make you a custom piece – please see our CUSTOM KUMARI.

Do you offer colors not shown on site?

We understand custom colors, especially for your wedding and/or bridemaids is important – you might be looking for that perfect champagne or inky blue hue. For a minimum of 4 Kumari’s we can customise the color – contact us at hello@kumarisari.com to discuss this very special order.

Do you offer special rates for bridesmaids or groups?

We love seeing bridemaids in Kumari! For order over 5 units, we offer a special rate. Contact us to chat about this very special order: hello@kumarisari.com

CAN I CHANGE OR AMEND MY ORDER ONCE IT’S PLACED? INCLUDING CHANGING THE ITEM OR SHIPPING ADDRESS?

We accept all major bank credit and debit cards inlcuding Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners and American Express cards. We also accept barter (yes, really)…. check out our barter options here..

Can I return a purchase?

Our return policy is exchange only. Items on sale are ‘final sale’ and are not eligible for exchange.  For regular priced items, all exchange requests must be placed within 14 days of item delivery. In order to exchange an item you will have to receive a Return Authorization (RA) request. Items shipped back without an RA will not be eligible for an exchange. To request an RA, please email us at info@kumarisari.com with your invoice number, item number and return request / reason for return. We will then guide you on how to proceed. All costs associated with returns (shipping / duties etc.) will be borne by the client. Please note any item returned must be in original condition with no signs of being worn or washed, and original tags. Please ensure that the item is well packaged and posted with a tracking number.

Can I return items on sale?

All items on sale are final sale and can not be refunded or exchanged.

When will my order ship?

All orders are shipped within 5-7 business days. Need it in a rush? Email us with your order number and we will see what can be done.

How long will it take to receive my order?

International orders: 7 business days. India: 5 business days from ship date. Please note due to Covid-19 courriers and lead times might be longer. Need it in a rush? Email us with your order number and we will see what can be done.

Customs and Taxes. How much will I have to pay?

Oh, how we wish we knew the precise answer to that. We suggest you contact your local customs office for a duties and taxes of their destination country, for goods coming from India. A note that all customs and duties costs must be borne by the buyer.

What are my shipping options?

Shipping within India is free. All other destinations will incur a INR 2500 shipping fee.
